ER Certification to introduce the new QCC mark from January 2024.
Earlier this week the Government announced it had extended the use of CE marking until 1 January 2025. This is to allow business time to adjust. However, Construction Products (including Windows, Doors & Flat Glass) are not currently included in this extension. The specific rules, already laid out, will still apply, meaning UKCA (or UKNI for Northern Ireland) will be required from the 1 January 2023.
System 3 products can continue to be self-declared and System 1 products will need to be certified by a UK Approved Body. ER Certification Ltd. can assist with voluntary system 3 certification as well as system 1 certification under it’s UKAS Accreditation (4585) and it's Approved Body scope (8511).
