UK Government update CE extension to include Construction Products.
ERC Testing Ltd. was formally set up in late 2015 to facilitate testing of windows, doors and safety glass. The facility was kitted out during early 2016 and now some 12+ months on, we are pleased to report that demand has exceeded our expectations for year 1. We have tested a variety of doors and windows manufactured using PVC, aluminium or aluminium. Main tests include weather testing (air, wind & water), security testing to PAS 24: 2016, and other operation tests. Safety glass testing may include impact testing (EN 12600), fragmentation testing (EN 12150-1) and 4-point bend testing EN 1288-3).
We own and operate the equipment while reports are generated in cooperation with TUV Rheinland Nederland BV. Via this cooperation we are accredited with RVA, the Dutch Accreditation body.
